Major Murphy is the project of songwriter, Jacob Bullard, formed and based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In the summer of 2015 he elicited the help of multi-instrumentalist, Jacki Warren and drummer, Brian Voortman to actualize the songs found in the group's first release, titled Future Release (10/9). The debut collection contains four songs, recorded and produced by Bullard in his home, with sounds ranging from soft rock to disco to proto-punk.
